Founded & Incorporated IMPACTO Sdn Bhd with SSM on 13 October.

Appointed a Global Advisory Board to bring Sustainability Expertise & Solutions to local businesses.

Started operations with three Founding Executive Directors.

Secured CIMB Group Holdings Berhad as our first market-listed anchor client.

Designed and shifted to our first corporate office at Kuala Lumpur Eco City.

Built a local team of six sustainability enthusiasts.

Engaged with leading NGOs and civil society to understand and document the state of human rights and migrant population in Malaysia.

Launched our Future-Fit Policy – modelling best practice policies to guide our employee, client and supplier relationships.

Secured HRDC Trainer Status, focusing mainly on sustainability coaching and mentoring.

Secured flagship projects in the Philippines.

Planned a curtain raiser event to feature internationally acclaimed and awarded documentary “Closing the Loop” on circular economy revolution.

Achieved the status of One Million (in revenue) Enterprise by design.

Channeled our profits to design and deliver our first community project, AirKu (Water Stewardship) in Lombok, Indonesia.

Organised our First IMPACT Study Tour to Gurkha Welfare Trust in Nepal.

Co-founded CEO Action Network in partnership with CIMB Group Holdings Berhad.

Assumed the role of a ‘Secretariat, Custodian of Terms of Reference, and Operations’ of CEO Action Network.

Co-designed Malaysia’s first big scale sustainability focused platform – CIMB’s ‘The Cooler Earth’ Sustainability Summit.

Secured international recognition for our Founder as a Certified CSR 2.0 [transformative CSR or sustainability] practitioner.

Received expressions of interest to buy-out IMPACTO by two major international consulting brands but rejected by IMPACTO due to misalignment of values and philosophy.

Shifted to a virtual set-up on an experimental basis for 3 years.

Thrived and remained profitable during the pandemic while actively contributing to building capabilities and sharing best practices in sustainability.

Initiated our journey with Genashtim for undergoing B Corp Assessment.

Gained recognition as Malaysia’s First and Only Sustainability Advisory with a B Corp Certification.

Appointed a Pioneer Team member, Emeera Hashim, as the Managing Director, with a clear succession plan.

Signed a three-year partnership with Women of Will.

Partnered with AISEC Malaysia to engage the youth and future sustainability champions on educational equity.

Set up a workstream on DEI at CEO Action Network with the objective to drive DEI within Malaysia’s corporate sector.

Supported various purpose-led organisations B Corp, NAWEM, CEO Action Network, AIESEC, Women of Will and Sabah Forestry Department to deliver insights on sustainability.

Recognised with our first SME100 Award in the category of ‘Fast Growing Companies’.

Promoted Emeera Hashim as the Chief Impact Officer and Managing Partner, with a stake in the company.

Reopened our physical office at Menara the Stride using upcycled materials, focusing on minimising waste to achieve a zero-waste environment.

Led the launch of Malaysia’s first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Implementation Guide as part of CEO Action Network at Bursa Malaysia.

Recognised at the ESG StarAwards for our Innovative Partnerships in the SME Category.

Incorporated IMPACTO Foundation in India, which will focus on inclusion, integrity and impact programmes.

Incorporated and launched IMPACTO’s brainchild, ZENRO, a tech-driven sustainability platform aimed at delivering digital assessments and targeted advisory on sustainability for SMEs.

Designed and delivered the inaugural IMPACTO day in collaboration with The Godown Arts Centre, FPT Corporation and Veg-Hub.

Supporting the Academy of Sciences Malaysia with development and documentation of the National Planetary Health Action Plan.
